I worked with Pat Burke and her sister Florence in the Red Cross Accounting office during the 1970's and even perhaps early 80's. I can't remember exactly when they retired. Pat and Florence were two of the nicest women one could ever hope to meet. They were pioneers in their field as even in the early 1970's very few women had degrees and therefore, at this time these two sisters were a wonderful example for women in the workforce. They were ahead of their time, professional at all times but most importantly, they were two of the nicest ladies at Red Cross. I am sure Pat will be missed greatly by her family members.
