Marvin A. Wright's Obituary
Marvin E. Wright, age 74, of Lewes, DE, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, went to meet the Lord on April 3, 2007. He was born November 29, 1932 in Rosine, KY, son of the late Rev. Richard and Rosella Wright. Marvin is reuniting with brother, Robert Wright and his sisters, Joyce Dye, Lillian Johnson, and Edna Claar.
As the General Superintendent for the largest construction company in the State of Arizona, he was very well known and respected throughout the community. He contributed to some of the great architecture in Phoenix. Marvin loved fishing, banana pudding, gardening, John Wayne movies, and John Deere tractors. Above all else, his greatest love was time spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Lois "Pat" Wright; two sons, Edward Wright and his wife Tina, and Jim Wright; three daughters, Debbie Pettyjohn, Patty Todd, and Cathy Stewart; a brother, Carl Wright and his wife Becky; two sisters, Ruth Willard, Lois Hill and her husband Mike; as well as ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 6, 3 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE with Rev. Neal Murray officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Scottsdale, AZ.
