I met Marty 22 years ago as we played a game online. He became a very good friend of mine. We didn't talk often, but our conversation seemed to pick up like we had spoken every day when we did. He was the reason I searched for a counselor after one of my kids ran into legal trouble. He would tell me to call him after the session and we could talk.. He showed so much care and concern for someone he had never met. we had many conversations about his son going to Boston College and how proud he was of him. Marty was rough around the edges, but he always did it with heart. He always did things for kids because he wanted them to have the experience of participating in an activity. God bless his brother for stepping up when he needed it. Rest in peace, Marty., we will visit again. Save a place for me.
