Martin Joseph Cosgrove, Sr passed peacefully at the age of 84 on June 26,2023 in the late afternoon. He was at home as he had requested with his wife and eldest son at his bedside. Martin was born in South Philadelphia on Novembe Read Obituary

Jim had the opportunity to serve on the Nanticoke Hospital Board with Marty and has many fond memories including board retreats and events when their conversations focused on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, both being huge fans. Together we enjoyed our times with Marty and Joyce and are grateful for their friendship and their commitment to the Nanticoke Hospital community. Marty will be missed by many. We regret we will not be able to attend the service because we are traveling out of the country. We will keep Joyce and the rest of the Cosgrove family in our thoughts during this difficult time.

I joined the staff at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital around 1985 and had many professional interactions with Marty until his retirement. He was a great radiologist and always a pleasure to work with. It was always a great pleasure to spend some time with him at social events as well. I'll never forget attending a ballgame with him in Philadelphia and being introduced to "the best Philly steak" anywhere!
