Marthlu was assigned to mentor me, a new kid from the country mid-year in junior high school. It must have been a nuisance to her because she was involved in everything and I was an introvert. What a contrast! She did it with such grace. I worked for Mr. Bledsoe at the bookstore through college. She was very involved with people and issues on camps. She always wanted to make a difference. I knew she would be just as enthusiastic and caring wherever she landed and with whatever issue needed attention.
To the family, I am sure you have many wonderful memories of her contributions to society and the lives of the people with whom she interacted so sustain you in the days ahead, My thoughts are with you. Karen Aeschliman Craig
