Martha Ellen Sulcoski's Obituary
Martha Ellen Sulcoski, age 72 of Lewes, DE, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Christiana Care Health Systems, in Newark, DE. She was born Friday, January 25, 1946 in East Stroudsburg, PA, daughter of the late Thomas Little and Marion H. Stout.
Martha was a graduate of East Stroudsburg High School, Class of 1964, where she was a proud member of the East Stroudsburg High Marching Band. Those close to her knew her as strong willed, tough minded, soft hearted, and truly devoted. Not one to shy away from getting her hands dirty, Martha enjoyed many personal passions from amateur gardening to homestyle gourmet. Throughout her life, Martha also explored her creative side through a tireless love of quilting, knitting, and sewing. As a member of CHEER of Long Neck, DE, she donated her skills as a seamstress providing handmade garments for the benefit of the troops and the elderly. Together with her husband, Frank, Martha built a genuine mom-and-pop business in the Poconos area spanning 20 years with the help of their four boys. She will be forever in the hearts, minds, and lives of those she loved.
Martha is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Sulcoski; her sons: Jeffrey Sulcoski, Trevor Sulcoski, Stephen Sulcoski, and Matthew Sulcoski; and her grandchildren: Amanda Sulcoski, Sammy Sulcoski, Andrew Carpenter, Mirielle Perry, Cassandra Perry, and Colin Sulcoski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at St. Jude the Apostle Church: 152 Tulip Drive; Lewes, DE where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
