Marty will be missed. She was a friend, at one time a neighbor, and just always herself. She was smart, intense, loyal, and booked no nonsense. My condolences to the family and to all the friends and groups who got to share in her life.
I knew Marty from AAUW and she was a member of the ALA AAUW Book Group which met at the Lewes Library. Over the10 years of reading books with the group, she always had keen observations and and thoughts to share with the group as well as bringing in articles from the newspapers about the topic we were discussing.
I will miss her very much as she was a exceptional educator and talented person who gave so much to the people around her.
