There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed I was to have Marius as my closest of friends. Our relationship spanned a very long time and over the many years, we saw each as brothers. While many saw Marius as the fierce advocate he was, strong and daring, and indeed he was. He also had a gentle and caring side under that tough exterior. We cared for each other; we laughed together and shed tears together. We enjoyed our friendship and the joy that was a part of the many times we talked with each other and sometimes over one of our favorite beverages. Thankfully we were able to spend time through the years traveling together and most recently, joining Marius and Jan on a cruise the began in Panama. We enjoyed the cruise and history of the Panama Canal. Recently we met in Tampa in February at one of our favorite places for a good dinner and a time to reflect on our past and our future. Marius passing hurts! His time here with us was too short, however he will leave to the many who knew him and loved him with a lasting memory of what a great guy, father, spouse and friend he was. My condolences to Jan and the family.
