Marion H. Stanley, age 80 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Lewes, Delaware. Born in London, England, Marion was the daughter of the late Barrington and Helen (Davers) Torrens-Burton.
Marion found joy in making her home warm and welcoming; decorating it with treasures she found during her travels and little gifts from family and friends. She loved playing with her dog, Charlie. Marion enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, and gardening, and her winters in Florida. She was a kind, loving, spiritual woman who always gave to the less fortunate and was an active member of the Daughters of the British Empire (DBE). Stanley, her daughter, Debbie Lewis, and son-in-law, Jim Lewis, of Newnan, Georgia, her son, Ivor Goodge, and daughter-in-law, Deb Goodge, of Newark, Delaware, her daughter, Katy Collins, and Mark Albanese, of Fairfax, Virginia, daughter, Tizzy Jones, and son-in-law, Jeff Jones, of Dacula, Georgia, step-son, Roger, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Suzanne, of Newark, Delaware, and step-son, Jeff, and daughter-in-law, Kathi, of Bear, Delaware; and her brothers, Barry Torrens-Burton, of Hythe, England, Billy Torrens-Burton, of Edinburgh, Scotland, and Andrew Torrens-Burton, of Swindon, England. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Louie and Barbie Giusto, Ian and Alishia Giusto, Dave and Mindy Lewis, Jim Lewis, Julie Collins, Alli and Scott Eberly, Emily and Paolo Belita, Ashlee Lewis and Charles Tucker, Briana Goodge, Lexi and Nicholas Golio, Katya Lewis, Jake Jones, Maggie Collins, Kayla Goodge, Courtney Jones, Brandon Goodge, Vince Albanese, and Erin Jones; and her great-grandchildren, Elijah Giusto, Amya Lewis, Layla Lewis, Silas Eberly, Landon Lewis, Asa Eberly, Aubriel Giusto, Dion Lewis, and Zeke Eberly.
