Marion Eleanor Bau's Obituary
Marion Eleanor Bau, age 88 of Lewes, DE passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at The Moorings at Lewes, in Lewes, DE. She was born on March 27, 1935, in Flushing, NY, daughter of the late Sylvester F. and Cecilia Marie (Gallagher) Bau.
With an outward compassion for others, Marion dedicated her life to being a teacher, passing her love of knowledge to her students. She was a decades-long English and Latin teacher in Columbus, OH, New York, NY, and McLean, VA. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her sisters: Geraldine C. Bizek, and Virginia B. Bau; and her dear friend, Rev. Roman Stadtmueller. She is survived by her brother, John Bau; her nieces: Marianne Bizek, Joanne Platt, and Barbara Sigismondi; her nephew, Joseph Bizek; as well as many loving friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, DE.
