Marilyn Lillian Robinson's Obituary
Marilyn Lillian Robinson, 85 of Milton, DE passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Cicero, IL on July 3, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Sylvia (Benes) Krenek. Marilyn was a cancer survivor and lived life to the fullest, despite undergoing a major GI surgery in 2016.
Marilyn graduated from Morton High in 1958 and studied bookkeeping. She moved to New York when she was in her twenties and worked as a full charge bookkeeper for 17 years before embarking on a career in tupperware that spanned nearly 5 decades. Marilyn married her first husband, the late Paul Peron, and moved back to Chicago after his death. She loved to travel and in 1960, travelled to Beirut, Lebanon, and Jerusalem, and in more recent years she enjoyed trips to Europe and cruising. Marilyn had lived in many U.S. States, including Illinois, Texas, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, and Georgia.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mena Donnelly in 2022. She is survived by her husband Forrest Robinson, whom she married in 1975, her brother Edward Krenek and his wife Doris, from Illinois, 3 children: Jean-Paul Peron, Tiffany Donnelly, and Annette Rogalski, who was raised by her adoptive parents, 3 stepchildren: Lydia Robinson, Andrew Robinson and Kristina Hutchinson, her 14 grandchildren and step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
