Marilyn J. Neuman's Obituary
Marilyn J. Neuman, age 71, of Lewes, DE passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was born December 13, 1942 in Columbus, OH, daughter of the late Ralph and Cecelia (Meyers) Madden.
Mrs. Neuman was employed with Renaissance Healthcare in Millsboro, DE, where she worked in the Housekeeping Department. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at Renaissance with “the girls” in her department. Mrs. Neuman looked forward to the daily conversations she had with many of the residents. A kind hearted woman, Mrs. Neuman would never turn anyone away who might need her assistance. She loved her new Shih Tzu, “Tuffy” and enjoyed the companionship they shared. Mrs. Neuman loved bargain shopping and could always tell you where the best deals were.
Mrs. Neuman is survived by her loving husband Frederick of Lewes, DE; a son, Freddie Fowler and wife Kim of Baltimore, MD and a daughter, Sylvia Hafer also of Baltimore, MD; four brothers: Bob, Cliff, James and David Madden; five sisters: Sonie, Jean, Jannie, Betty and Carol Madden all of Columbus, OH; three step-daughters: Wanda Via; Betty Williams and Brenda Radtka of Baltimore, MD; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
