For some reason, Marie’s name came to mind. I did a google search and found this obituary.
Marie was my 2nd grade teacher in chestnut street school in 1952. I remember she had a magnificent voice.
I also saw her decades later at the Gallery North art show in Setauket, NY. Every year after that, I searched for her.
I’m so sad she has passed. 😢

I will always remember the good times we shared, her artistic talent and her easy sense of humor. She visited me almost daily when I was recuperating from major surgery. We laughed about the time I fell sound asleep while she was talking to me. I am fortunate to have a print of one of her paintings. Rest in peace Marie.
