In September, on her 95th birthday, she was incredibly happy to have a surprise birthday party with over a hundred attendees from all over the United States. She was loved by so many people.

She is survived by her children, Helena Mack of Cochranville, PA, Edward Pierce of Newport, DE, Pat Lockwood of Lewes, who took tremendous care of her mother until she passed away, Barbara Muterspaw of San Diego, CA and her grandson Timothy Charles, whom she raised from the age of 18 months old, ten other grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
