Marianne D. Schulze's Obituary
Marianne D. Schulze, age 60, of Lewes, DE, formerly of Boston, MA and Philadelphia, PA, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was born August 12, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late John R. and Anne T. (Halligan) Davis.
Mrs. Schulze moved to Delaware ten years ago. She was very active with the St. Vincent dePaul Society. She was an avid reader who was especially well versed in European and American History. She enjoyed international travel and spending time with her family, especially her son and granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Paul Schueller. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Louis N. Schulze; her son, Louis N. Schulze, Jr. and his wife Rebekah of Boston, MA; her granddaughter, Anne Halligan; four brothers, John Davis and his wife Patricia, Michael Davis, Thomas Davis and his wife Heidi, and Joseph Davis and his wife Barbara; two sisters, Teresa Carl and her husband Joseph and Frances Schueller; and many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday, July 15, 2:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM. Interment will be private.
