Marian Noon's Obituary
Mrs. Marian (Kreckel) Noon, age 93, of Dagsboro, DE; died Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Berlin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Berlin, Md. Mrs. Noon was born in Washington, D.C. and moved to this area in 1996 from Hyattsville Maryland, where she had lived for 50 years. She was a very active person and loved gardening and crocheting. She had served as a librarian at Dematha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, MD for 20 years.
She was the daughter of the late Carl Kreckel & Pearl (Alcampe) Kreckel. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband William Joseph Bell; her second husband Peter T. Noon; daughter Barbara Ann McEntee, a son William Bell and 2 brothers James & Paul Kreckel.
She is survived by a Daughter-Mrs. Margery (Bell) Walker of Dagsboro, DE;
2 Step Daughters: Mrs. Maureen McCarthy of Columbia, MD
& Ms. Kerry Noon of Berkley Springs, WV; a
Step Son-Mr. Peter Noon of Columbia, MD; fifteen grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church, RT 26, Bethany Beach, DE at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2006 with Father David Kelley officiating. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven in Dagsboro, DE.
