Margaret L. Taylor's Obituary
Margaret L. Taylor, 83, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and formerly of Washington, DC, and Stanley, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2005, at Lewes Convalescent Center in Lewes, DE, following a brief battle with cancer.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Joseph Kolarik and Eva Morris Kolarik.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce W. Taylor, her sisters Anna Hays, Emma Lewis, and Ann Lesley, and her brothers John Kolarik, and Joseph Kolarik. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Taylor of Rehoboth Beach, DE. She is also survived by nieces, Vicky Daugherty of Brandywine, MD, Cindy Good of Stanley, VA, and nephew Chris Hall of Shenandoah, VA, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
She was an accountant for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers for 38 years, and retired in 1982. She moved from Washington, DC, at the time of her retirement to Stanley, VA, where she lived for 20 years. She then moved to Rehoboth Beach in 2002, and made many friends in her short time here. Margaret will be best remembered for her profound love and compassion for animals, and her ability to laugh and smile in the most difficult of times.
The memorial service in Stanley, VA and burial at Epworth in Rehoboth will both be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to Beebe Medical Center c/o Beebe Medical Foundation, 902 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
