Margaret "Peggy" Claire Wareham's Obituary
Margaret (Peggy) Claire Wareham, nee Farrelly, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2016, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the presence of her children and husband. She was born on October 2, 1932 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late James and Marion (nee Walsh) Farrelly.
Peggy was known for her gregariousness, intelligence, humor and wit. She was unfailing in her devotion as a wife and mother; continually putting the needs of others ahead of herself. Peggy was gifted in needlepoint and embroidery. The Irish - be they kings or poets or farmers, they’re a people of great worth. They keep company with the angels and bring a bit of heaven here to earth.
Peggy is the loving wife of Robert C. Wareham; beloved step-daughter of the late Roberta Farrelly; beloved mother of Robert (Valerie) Wareham, James (Laura) Wareham, Thomas (Jodie) Wareham, and Kimberly Wareham; beloved sister of the late James D. (Adrienne) Farrelly, Gerald (Barbara) Farrelly, Dennis M. (Diana) Farrelly, Sr. Mary Megan “Elizabeth” Farrelly, Patrick F. (Kay) Farrelly, John E. (Vicki) Farrelly, Terrence “Deg” Farrelly, and Deirdre (William) Dreger; and dear grandmother of Kristina, Sean, Amanda, Jeremy, Collin, Blake, Kevin, and Luke.
All services will be private at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, DE.
