Margaret Elaine Marino's Obituary
Margaret Elaine Marino, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024, in Lewes, DE. Born on December 5, 1937, in Lima, OH, she was a cherished daughter to the late Heber Hughes and Margaret Hughes.
Margaret's life was a testament to her kind and nurturing spirit. She proudly served in the Navy for four years, a period that shaped her resilience and strength. Following her service, she dedicated her time as a dental assistant before embracing the role of a homemaker, a job she performed with grace and devotion.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard T. Marino, sons Rick and Chris Marino, daughters Elena and Marcie Marino, grandsons Eric, Brandon, and Matthew, and granddaughters Christina, Hailey, Emily, Anna, and Katie. They will forever hold dear the memory of Margaret as a beloved wife, mother, and nana.
Margaret's passions included painting, cooking, bowling, and walking—activities that brought joy to her and those around her. Her love for life was evident in the warmth she brought to every room and the smiles she painted on the faces of her family and friends.
Margaret will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
