Margaret Mary Calabrese's Obituary
Margaret Mary (Beck) Calabrese, age 70, of Ocean View, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2009, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born January 26, 1939 in Butler, PA, daughter of the late Paul and Vivian (Rose) Beck.
Prior to moving to Delaware in 1994, the family resided in Farmingdale, NY where Mrs. Calabrese was employed as a Payroll Supervisor at Brunswick Hospital in Amityville, NY. She was a graduate of Slippery Rock University, PA, and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bethany Beach. She was a former member of the AAUW and the Lord Baltimore Lioness Club. She was a Charter Member of AARP Chapter 5226, Ocean View and a member of the Sussex County Genealogical Society. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Beck. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Renaldo A. Calabrese; two sons, Anthony Calabrese and wife Patricia of Hattiesburg, MS and Albert Calabrese and wife Lisa of Pittsburgh, PA; two daughters, Christine Petrelli and husband Frank of Great River, NY and Caroline Paul and husband Raymond of Bethpage, NY; 6 grandchildren: Julianna, Zoe, Domenic, Mia, Nicholas and Raymond; two brothers James Beck of Tucson, AZ and Frank Beck of Sarasota, FL; and three sisters: Agnes Grabowski of Butler, PA, Eileen Brandt of Valencia, PA and Ruth Roberts of Butler, PA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 8, 2009, 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, Routes 26 & 17, Clarksville, DE. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. (www.parsellfuneralhomes.com)
