Marcia R. Gibbs of Lewes, DE passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011, at Beebe Hospital. She was born November 20, 1922 in Dundalk, Maryland. She was one of four children of Ovid E. Roberts, Jr. and Ivy Roberts, and grew up in the Read Obituary
Marcia and her family have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have such wonderful memories of being in the house on Pilot Town Road, going to the beach, and of course, all the time spent with the whole family. I hope that you and my mother are together now; good friends reunited.

My sorrows to the Gibbs family and friends of Marcia's. She always had plenty to share and knew how to make a little mean a lot with grace and dignity; always a song in her heart as she covered all basis. On any given day a whistle could be heard in her kitchen. She loved life, her family and I know, already, she is looking down upon us with tears of joy as she is reunited with the apple of her eye, her Captain at the helm, Robert Gibbs.

Mrs. Gibbs was a very special person to me. Whenever I would see her, she was quick to hug and share her kind and loving words with me. She was my mentor during my baptism journey and was at my side the evening of my baptism and all of my children's baptisms.
I will always remember her love and I will miss her greatly.
We were so sorry to read of Marcia's death. We were neighbors for the past 14 years.
I was surprised to read that Marcia graduated from the same secretarial school that I
