Madeline Ann Masi's Obituary
Madeline Ann Masi, age 81 of Lewes, DE, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at University of Penn Hospital, in Philadelphia, PA. She was born on January 9, 1942, in Weehauken, NJ, daughter of the late Leonard and Anna Nowacki.
Madeline graduated from high school in Weehauken and obtained her certification as a medical assistant in Manhattan, NY. She enjoyed a lifelong career in the healthcare industry, retiring from Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel, NJ, after more than 20 dedicated years.
Madeline had two favorite sports: NFL Football and NBA Basketball. She remained loyal to her favorite players, Patrick Mahomes, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs and reveling in their Super Bowl win, and Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Madeline maintained close relationships and truly enjoyed shopping trips with her closest friends. She loved to celebrate all holidays and decorate her home accordingly, especially at Halloween and Christmas. What Madeline cherished most however, was time spent with those she held most dear. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Loved by all who knew her, she will be forever missed.
Madeline is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Rich Masi; her daughter, Healey Stepanic and her son-in-law, Michael Stepanic; her grandchildren: Jordan Stepanic and Tanner Stepanic; and her brother, Leonard Vito.
