Madeline Churilla's Obituary
Madeline Churilla of Greenwood, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born May 27, 1922 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late M. and Sadie (George) Caspar.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Churilla was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John Churilla in 1982. She is survived by 5 children including her daughter, Regina C. Warnick of Greenwood, whom she lived with and was her longtime caregiver; 10 grandchildren including: Christopher Schaffner of Seaford, DE, Karyn Lorenzo Rotzinger, Jon-Rene Holmes and Ryan Warnick all of Greenwood; and 11 great grand children.
A visitation for friends and family will be hosted by, Karyn and Jon-Rene on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE 19933. All other services will be private.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Delaware Hospice for their support and exceptional care in Mrs. Churilla’s final months.
