Lynnsue M. Bennett's Obituary
Lynnsue K. Bennett, age 60 of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at TidalHealth Nanticoke Hospital, in Seaford. She was born on February 10, 1963, in Milford, DE, daughter of Ann Unterberger and the late Lynn Kefauver.
Lynnsue graduated from Woodbridge High School, Class of 1981. She furthered her education at Delaware Technical & Community College, earning her Associate’s Degree in Nursing. A natural caregiver, Lynnsue’s life’s work was as a registered nurse, and she dedicated many years to her career and helping others. She was also a patriot, serving in the US Army National Guard. Lynnsue was a child of God and a faithful member of Grace Seaford Church. She enjoyed going to the beach, feeling the sun on her face and having her toes in the sand, and her hobbies included painting and crafting. Above all, Lynnsue cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially her adored grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend. Loved by many, she will be forever missed.
In addition to her father, Lynnsue was preceded in death by her grandparents: Harry and Charlotte Kefauver; and her aunt, Lynette K. Kovak. She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Daniel Bennett; her daughters: Shauna Bennett (Joseph) and Danielle Glaviano (Ray); her grandchildren: Gage Wadkins, Sydney Wadkins, Dane Glaviano, Reese Glaviano, Isiah Santiago, and Sianni Santiago; her mother, Ann Unterberger; her sisters: Venessa Kefauver and Betty Ann Kefauver; her stepmother, Virginia Kefauver; and her many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Grace Seaford Church, 805 Atlanta Road, Seaford, DE 19973.
