Luke A. Benson , age 33, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, died on Friday, August 30, 2013. He was born in Washington, DC, on December 30, 1979 , son of Bruce O. Benson and Isabel M. Flanagan Benson of Rehoboth Beach, DE.
Luke enjoyed fishing, biking, skate boarding, surfing, writing, reading and especially poetry and listening to music.
In addition to his parents Luke is survived by two brothers, Adam T. Benson and Colin Herbert Benson both of the San Francisco Bay Area of California; his sister Leah Crossman of Rehoboth Beach, DE; his paternal grandmother Maria T. Benson of Rehoboth Beach, DE; two nephews, Atlan Benson Crossman and Levi Bruce Crossman; a niece Amelia Christabel Crossman; the "Aunts" and many other loving relatives and a very special friend Sara Woods of Rehoboth Beach, DE.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 05, 2013, at 2:00 PM, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Avenue , Rehoboth Beach, DE. where family and friends may visit beginning at 1:00 PM.
