Mr. Diaz was an institution at our synagogue. He knew every family, every aspect of Temple activities, everything about the building. He was a treasure trove of knowledge, and had a special knack for solving any kind of problem, using his ingenuity, creativity, and hard work. He was incredibly kind, artistic, and had a gentle and caring demeanor. When I arrived at the Temple, he painted my office, hung up my art and arranged my furniture with the touch of an interior designer. He served the Temple with love and care for more than 40 years, and he impacted our community in so many ways. He will be truly missed. We offer our deepest condolences to the family. May he rest in peace, and may his memory always be a blessing -- it certainly will to us.
With love,

Luis painted with me and others at Heritage Shores. He was a wonderful artist and I so enjoyed spending those evenings with him and his daughter. Paint in heaven⦠I will think of you when we paint.
My deepest condolences to the Luis Diaz family. I will miss the presence of Luis' truly lovable, fun and kind person he was. Daniel Murray, neighbor
