Lucky Munro Regli's Obituary
Lucky Munro Regli, 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE after a short illness.
She was born August 13, 1945 in Huntington, New York, daughter of William Carroll Munro and Madolyn Louise Shearer. She lived and grew up in Manhattan, New York City and graduated from St. Hilda’s and Packer Institute. She was also a graduate of UCLA.
Lucky was Director of Corporate Relocation for Prudential as well as for Coldwell Banker in Morristown, New Jersey during her almost 20 year career in the Real Estate Business. She and her husband, William, moved from Brookside, New Jersey to Kings Creek Country Club, Rehoboth Beach in 1995 after retirement and subsequently moved to Plantations East, Lewes in 2002.
She is survived by her husband, William Clement Regli, and their five children: Brigitta Schaft and her husband Frederick of Abington, PA, Michelle Shoener and her husband Lee of Lansdale, PA, Bettina Daley of Ridgewood, NJ, Jordan Berg and his wife Christine of Mill Valley, CA, and Jennifer Berg of San Francisco, CA. There are also nine grandchildren, and two brothers, William C. Munro and John Munro.
Lucky was a descendant of William Bradford, the first Governor of the Plymouth Colony and she was in the process of joining the Mayflower Society. She is also a descendant of several Revolutionary War Patriots. She is a member of the Colonel David Hall Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolutionary War in Lewes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 10, 11:00 AM, at St Jude the Apostle Church, Delaware Route 1 north of Five Points, Lewes. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at a later date at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Lansdale, PA. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
