Lucille Anne Deiaco's Obituary
Lucille Anne Deiaco, age 94 of Milford, DE passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Little Sisters of Poor, in Newark, DE. She was born on June 2, 1929, in Tyler, PA, daughter of the late Rocco and Michela Deiaco. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Cosmo (known as “Kelly”), Carmen, Vincent, Mary, Ida, Alice and Jenny. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Miss Deiaco enjoyed a lifelong career as a registered nurse, a job she found most rewarding & dedicated her life to helping others. Faith was a pillar in her life, and she was an active member of St. John The Apostle Church and a professed member of the Secular Order Franciscans. Time spent with her friends and family was what she treasured most, above of all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude, The Apostle Church in Lewes, Delaware on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the services at Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Road, Milton, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in Miss Deiaco's memory to Little Sisters of the Poor,185 Salem Church Road, Newark, Delaware 19713.
