Louis N. Schulze, age 81, passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2020 in his Lewes, DE home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on November 12, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Wallace and Margaret (Truitt) Schulze. Lou Read Obituary
Lou was a valued member of the Overfall Lightship family. His work over many years helped to preserve the Lightship Overfalls and help to win the National Historic Landmark designation for the Lightship Overfalls in 2012. His enthusiasm and sense of teamwork will be sorely missed by all who worked with him. We will miss his friendly visits just to chat even in the weeks when the ship was not open for visitors.

Lou was a longtime member of the Overfalls Foundation and a member of the Lightship Overfalls Dirty Hands Gang. He was dedicated to preserving the ship and in more recent times could be found spending his Tuesday mornings "encouraging" the crew and helping to get our projects completed. He was a hard worker and shares in the success of the Overfalls restoration. Lou will be dearly missed by the Gang. Farewell Shipmate and may you have eternal Fair Winds and Following Seas.
