Lorraine Zepora Lingo's Obituary
Lorraine Zepora Lingo, age 80, of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home. She was born on January 1, 1935 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Walter and Cora (Hager) Knox.
Mrs. Lingo was a very social and happy individual who made many long lasting friendships throughout her life. She enjoyed going to Funland where she would spend time playing Skee Ball and miniature golf with her family and friends. She was also an avid gardener. She will be remembered for sharing happiness and being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lingo was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Lingo. She is survived by her two sons: Edward Lingo and his wife Elizabeth of Waukesha, WI and James Lingo of Rehoboth Beach, DE; a daughter, Holly Lingo of Easton, PA; four granddaughters: Heather Faust and her husband Joseph, Melissa Hernandez, Mallory Hernandez all of Easton, PA and Julia Lingo of Waukesha, WI.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the services at 1:00 PM at the St John's Cemetery, Springfield Crossroads, Georgetown, DE 19947.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Lingo's memory to SPCA, 22918 DuPont Boulevard, Georgetown, DE 19947.
