Loretta Elizabeth Noderer's Obituary
Loretta “Elizabeth” Brender Noderer, 98, of Lewes, DE died on Monday, May 12, 2025, in Millsboro, DE. Betty was born in Baltimore, MD on December 15, 1926, daughter of the late Anthony Joseph Brender and Leona (Stevens) Brender.
Betty was known for her warmth, generosity, and the undeniable loving spirit she brought to all. She was very sociable and friendly always enjoying being around people and making friends.
In her last days, Betty was surrounded by her family, whom she loved more than anything, always seeing and encouraging the best in them. She leaves behind countless friends, extended family and the staff that so lovingly cared for her. A tribute right to the end was how many just stopped by to see her and say goodbye.
She is survived by her daughter, Leona “Lee” E. Noderer of Lewes, DE; three sons, Peter Edward Knight and his wife Kay of Sabillasville, MD, Michael Anthony Noderer and his wife, Sharon of Indian Head, MD, and Frank J. Noderer, Jr. and his wife Debi of Mt. Holly, NC; 14 Grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Noderer, Sr., and two daughters, Margaret Ann Cunningham, and Nancy E. Christopher.
A Chapel Committal Service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE, 19966.
