Loretta, It is so true, that nothing gold can stay but in our hearts you will be always!

I have very fond memories of my Aunt Loretta from my childhood and teen years. She always had a warm smile, caring words and treated me more as an adult than as a kid (which I grew to appreciate). I loved visiting her and my Uncle Jim (Stegner) and Max and Baron (their Schnauzers). She was a loving and supportive sister to my Dad, Glenn Brenneman and will be deeply missed.
My sincere condolences to the Stegner and Ladd families. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
Sincerely,
Jeff Brenneman
Loretta, our dear friend, our special neighbor, your wonderful smile remains forever in our hearts. Jim and Jane Batts
Theresa and I enjoyed Loretta's fellowship here at Independence. We will miss the clubhouse fun Friday nights and dancing with her. She treated us with the highest dignity and respect as a resident. I will miss her hugs and kisses as we bid good night. Her personality, grace and charm made her one of the tops of the tops in our community. Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences are rendered to Jim, Deb and the Stegner/Ladd families. May the Good Lord lift you up and give you his peace. Love ya always, Loretta, God Speed, G
Hank & Cathy Brodersen are saddened by the loss of bright light in our community.
We enjoyed her Friday visits to the poker table and laughter.
It makes my heart so heavy to know that she is gone and I did not get to say goodbye. For about a week I have been looking forward to your visit and worried that I had missed you both. It's those little things in life that mean the most and those you meet along the way that matter. I will miss her and I wish I could tell her that I cannot believe she was 85 years old! We are very sorry to hear the news about Loretta. She was such a sweet lady that had lots of spunk! She loved to dance at the clubhouse and always had a smile.

Loretta was an inspiration to be around as we always made her laugh as she did for us too. She loved to dance up a storm especially when Sol Knopf was playing his music. She will be sorely missed at our "Independence Community Events".
May the Lord bless her family during this trying time.
Loretta, "Rest In Peace".
Sincerely,
Linda and Jim Dunn
Loretta was always the first one I grabbed to dance with me when her favorite Sol Knopf was playing at the Indy Lounge! She was always ready for fun! She will be missed greatly by Bill & Mary Beth!
