Lola Jane Tyson's Obituary
Lola Jane "Tillie" (Foreman) Tyson, age 79, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE. She was born April 1, 1928 in Royersford, PA, daughter of the late Clarence Sr. and Jenny (DeWalt) Foreman.
Mrs. Tyson was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was known to her family and friends as "Tillie". She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She always had a kind word and a positive attitude, no matter what the circumstances. She cared deeply for her family. Until she married, she was a secretary for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in Pottstown, PA. Tillie enjoyed gardening, decorating, and cooking for the entire family. While she will be missed dearly, she lives on in our hearts forever and with our Lord.
In addition to her loving husband Robert, she is survived by three sons, Drew Tyson and his wife Diane, Carter Tyson and his wife Sharon, and Bruce Tyson and his wife Margot; five grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Adrienne, Trevor and Chad; two brothers, Clarence Foreman, Jr. and his wife Jeanette, and Gary Foreman and his wife Emma Lou; and a large extended loving family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 11 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE with the Rev. Dr. Frank S. Deming, Jr., Pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church, King Charles and Laurel Streets, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
