Lois C. Faulkner's Obituary
Lois C. Faulkner, age 77, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE. She was born in Harrington, DE, on November 12, 1933, daughter of the late Wallace Willington Wilson and Lillian (Shelties) Wilson Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Faulkner on May 11, 2005 and one brother, Bruce Wilson.
Mrs. Faulkner was a resident of Bridgeville for most of her life. She was a cashier for Acme Markets for 21 years, working in Bridgeville and Federalsburg, MD. She enjoyed playing the slots, traveling, and taking care of her pets. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Debbie Faulkner-Comegys and her husband Jimmy of Bridgeville, DE; one grandson Billy Faulkner of Bridgeville; and one brother Charlie Cook and his wife Nancy of Cambridge, MD.
Funeral Services will be held at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville on Thursday September 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Bridgeville Cemetery, Bridgeville, DE.
The family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or the SPCA, 22918 DuPont Boulevard, Georgetown, DE 19947.
