Lois A. Fry age 97 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at the University of Maryland Medical Center, in Baltimore, MD. after falling ill while visiting with her daughter in Scaggsville, MD. She was born October 9, 1923 in Carteret, NJ, daughter of the late Edward Emil and Agnes Banghart (Castner) Doscher.
Lois was a minister’s wife, played the piano in her husband’s churches, and ended her life by continuing to play and minister at Midway Assembly of God Church in Lewes, DE. Playing the piano and being with her family and friends were her passion. She always had a smile and love of God to share with everyone.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fry was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Herman Wesley Fry on Jan. 23, 2008
She is survived by her daughter, June Toth and husband Greg of Maryland; two sons, Paul Fry and wife Melinda of West Virginia and Ken Fry and wife Jolann of Virginia; 4 grandchildren Sarah McQueen and husband Aaron, Hannah Fry, Kelsey Corder and husband William Jr., and Jessie Fry; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Midway Assembly of God Church, 34677 Old Postal Lane, Lewes, DE. where friends may visit one hour prior to services.
Seating at the church will be limited so please email a reply to [email protected] for reservations.
Burial will follow the service at Conley's Chapel Cemetery, Lewes, DE.
