Linda Jean Ziemba's Obituary
At age 78, Linda Ziemba, of Lewes, DE, passed away after an illness. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Linda was born in Newark, N.J., to Peter and Marcella Ziemba. She earned a PhD in microbiology from Rutgers University, and later moved to Hockessin, DE. She retired as a medical researcher after 35 years of service at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.
Linda was the loving wife of Ronald Savidge; mother of Rachel Savidge; stepmother of David Savidge and his wife Melissa, and Steven Savidge and his wife Karen; grandmother to Andrew Savidge and Bryn Savidge; aunt to Audrey Alvarado and great aunt to Alyssa Alvarado.
Linda was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Richard Ziemba and Donna Ziemba.
A private ceremony will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to your favorite charity.
