Linda L. Seglem's Obituary
Linda L. Seglem, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Born on January 11, 1944, in Lower Merion, PA , she was the daughter of the late William and Alice (McKnett) Lux.
Linda devoted her life to her family , raising her beloved son and creating a warm, welcoming place for all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the deep love she had for those around her. Linda especially cherished time spent at the beach with her family, with Wilmington Avenue and Deauville Beach holding a special place in her heart through the years. From walking the avenue to strolling the boardwalk, she delighted in taking her family to Funland, Gus & Gus, Browseabout, and Dollies, creating countless joyful memories along the way. An avid traveler, Linda ensured every family trip was thoughtfully planned, complete with a well-prepared itinerary. Whether exploring National Parks, traveling throughout the Caribbean and Europe, or visiting beloved family in Norway, she never stopped exploring the world or creating meaningful memories with those she loved most.
She is survived by her son, Brian Seglem of Milton, DE, and his wife, Danielle; her cherished grandsons, Benjamin Seglem and Beau Seglem, whom the family joyfully welcomed on December 19th, both of Milton, DE. She is also survived by her brother, Matthew Lux and his wife, Patti, of Arlington, TX; niece and nephew Meredith Lux and Matthew Lux of Arlington, TX; sister-in-law Janet Lux of Rehoboth Beach, DE; nephew David Lux of Pennsylvania; niece Lori Hunt of Florida; nephew Chuck Hunt of Santa Cruz, CA; niece Kathi Hansen of San Jose, CA; and nephew Scott Hunt of Cummings, GA.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Seglem; her sister, Alice L. Hunt; and her brother, William (Bill) Lux.
