Linda Ann Schiding's Obituary
Linda Ann Schiding age 80, of Lewes, DE passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at her home, in Lewes, DE. She was born Friday, February 28, 1941, in York, PA, daughter of the late Richard and Mary Grace (Saylor) Daryman.
Linda graduated from York College. On April 20, 1963, she married the love of her life, Frederick P. Schiding.
Linda built a 30 year long career up to Executive Officer, Executive Vice President for the York County Builders Association, retiring in 2003. When she moved to Lewes, she started volunteering at the Lewes Public Library and had volunteered almost every week since- for more than 15 years.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband, Frederick P. Schiding, who passed away in 2014; and her son, Jeffrey Schiding, who passed away in 2015; as well as her brothers: Bob Daryman and Bill Daryman.
She is survived by her brother, Barry Daryman;her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mark Shue; her granddaughters: Kayleigh and Eleanor; her grandson, Zachary; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Schiding; and her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Linda's name to Delaware Humane Association, 18675 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
