Linda Lee Bennett's Obituary
Linda Lee Bennett, age 76 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Christiana Care Health Systems in Newark, DE after a brief illness. She was born on May 27, 1944 in Baltimore , MD, daughter of the late Samuel W. and Harriett Virginia (Bangs) Brown.
Ms. Bennett worked for the US Federal Government for many years in the Federal Banking area. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, and thoroughly enjoyed cooking.
Her survivors include her wife and partner of over 40 years, Rita Ann Lane of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and her canine friend Gracie, their toy poodle.
There will be no services.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 1315 Mt. Hermon Road, Suite D, Salisbury, MD 21804.
