Linda Frear Brahms, She Delighted the Palates of Many
Linda Frear Brahms, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at her residence, in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
Linda Frear Brahms is now in the arms of Jesus joining her beloved daughter, Allison Frear; her mother, Mary Himes; her former husband, Fred Frear, and her many relatives and friends. Linda is a believer who spent much of her life being a student of the Bible, participating and leading study groups including Community Bible classes. Her current membership is with the Crossing in Lewes. Wherever her extensive travels brought her, she would seek out the local evangelical church and arrange to attend.
For more than 30 years, she was the proprietor of Hearts Delight Gourmet Catering, co-founded with a life-long friend Pat Forbes, serving delectable food in style to more than 100,000 guests in DELMARVA, Dallas, TX and Washington, DC.
Linda is survived by her husband, Tom Brahms; her daughters: Leanne Towner and Marla Frear; her brother, James Himes (Rosemary), and two grandsons: Dallas and David Towner, along with many relatives and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at All Saints Cemetery, Harbeson, DE.
