Levin M. Tindle's Obituary
Levin “Lee” M. Tindle, age 59, of Long Neck, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Salisbury, MD on Wednesday, April 9, 1952, son of the late Alfred J. and Grace (Adkins) Tindle.
Mr. Tindle dedicated his life to the hotel industry working for various organizations along the coastal communities. He was a hard worker, kind man, and great friend who will be missed by so many.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Tindle was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, William Mitchell in 2003. He is survived by his two sisters: Beverly J. Layton and her husband James E. and Wanda L. Mitchell, all of Lewes, DE; three nephews: William T. Mitchell, Jr. and his wife Gwen of Wilmington, DE and their children, Courtney and William III, Michael Newcomb and his wife Kathy of Milton, DE and their children, Matthew and Morgan, and James Layton and his wife Theresa of Lewes, DE and their son, Andrew; and one niece, Kelly Sifford and her husband Jason of Mechanicsville, MD and their son Zachery.
All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Sussex County Cancer Survivor’s Foundation, PO Box 83, Nassau, DE 19969.
