LeVergne Rayhon Jr.'s Obituary
LeVergne Rayhon Jr. of Lewes, Delaware, passed away at the age of 86, on July 18, 2025. He was born on July 28, 1938, in Somerville, New Jersey.
LeVergne was a Navy veteran and an active volunteer at American Legion Post 28, where he ran the weekly shuffleboard. He had various interests including being an avid wine maker for over two decades. LeVergne was a lifelong dog lover, a dedicated fan of Formula One, and lifelong racing fan, which included go-karting in his younger years. He retired as a Sales Engineer of cutting-edge abrasives for the commercial and aerospace markets at Sample Marshall Labs Inc.
LeVergne is survived by his wife Lorraine Terraneo; three children: son Lawrence and wife Sandra Rayhon, daughter LaRay and husband David Stockinger, and daughter Lorraine and husband Dennis Reilly; five grandchildren: Kyle, Samantha, Ryan, Tyler, and Dannielle; and three great grandchildren: Lola, Dominic, and Hailey.
No memorial service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
