Obituary
Leonard Ray Riley, age 82, of Lewes, DE died Saturday, December 3, 2005, at Snow Hill Nursing & Rehab Center in Snow Hill, MD. Mr. Riley was born July 2, 1923 in Hohenwald, TN son of the late Willard Parker and Ollie (Lancaster) Riley.
Mr. Riley served in the U.S. Army for more then 20 years, retiring as a Maser Sargeant. He was a veteran of both WW II and the Korean War having served in both the Navy and the Army. Following his military career, he sold insurance and real estate in California. He also enjoyed photography.
He is survived by his wife Margit (Skinnarland) Riley; four daughters: Brenda Medows of Baytown, TX, Mona Joyner of San Diego, CA, Sherri Martin of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Tina Riley of San Diego; one son, Leonard Ray Riley, Jr. of CA; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Owen of FL and Imadean Janosik of OH; and one brother, Heibert Riley of TN.
All services and burial were private. Arrangements were handled by Parsell Funeral Homes, Lewes, DE.
