Leona Spencer's Obituary
Leona "Lee” Spencer, age 77, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away at home on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, on Sunday, April 7, 1946, daughter of the late Stanley and Harriet (Czarnecki) Mazeski.
Mrs. Spencer graduated from high school in 1964. She married the love of her life, James Spencer on September 3rd, 1967, and the two of them would create a beautiful life together. Mrs. Spencer was a proud homemaker, and she created a warm, loving, and nurturing home. She found the greatest enjoyment in the simple things of life. One of Mrs. Spencer's favorite pastimes was reading and could often be found curled up with a good book. Her devotion to her family, however, took precedence above all. Mrs. Spencer was a loving and nurturing wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Loved by many, she will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spencer was predeceased by her sisters, Catherine Mazeski, and Christine Mazeski. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Spencer of Bridgeville, DE.
