I am deeply sorry to hear of the passing of Layton. I was out of the country (Germany) and could not be reached by family. I hope you are both doing well and that the many warm memories you have will help to ease the sorry you feel.

Layton and my dad Ralph, were joined at the hip. As a boy growing up I observed their relationship and learned what true friendship was. Layton was always soft spoken and full of kindness. When I think of him I have pleasant thoughts. Thank you Layton for what you taught me as a boy.

i was saddened to hear of laytons passing. i have many fond memories of layton and betty at my grandparents home(molly and clarence) when i was young.we always loved to see them visit.such a loving warm man.i remember his pride and awe at you kelly when he would show you off as a baby.please accept my condolences. brenna pizzaiae
