Larry you were an inspiration to me and many other cyclists. We were even mischievous one day. We turned the tide on DelDot to promote cycling on Route 1. And when we rode the Junction Breakwater trail before it was even thought of and then even before it was officially opened to the public, these were good times. Were pranksters for a good cause and Jim and I promoted your memory on that plaque on the J&B bridge. He even created a great bike ride around Sussex and I still have the jersey. I'm so glad we were friends! You are missed but your accomplishments and your memory live on. Thanks Larry.

My Uncle Tink was a great guy! He had such quick wit, humor, and the smile and laugh to go with it. He also had an unbelievable memory and knew how to tell a story.

I joined the Camden Lions Club years ago and most of the senior there came up to me and said with a smile, "I know Larry Wonderlin, is he your Dad or uncle?" and they shared where they knew him from. Uncle Tink always had a positive energy about him and good things to say about people!

As a DNREC employee, I had the honor of working with Larry while he was a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee as part of the Inland Bays Estuary Program. He was always a pleasure to be with and I was always impressed by his educated and reasoned approaches to difficult environmental problems. And what a terrific sense of humor!

What a great guy - my wonderful Uncle Tink. He wasn't too old himself when I was born, so he was kind of a friend and buddy. I've always considered him to be a mentor to me. How lucky I've been to have him for an uncle. Rest in peace dear Tinky.
