Lavonne C. Stafford's Obituary
Lavonne Coates Stafford, born June 24, 1933 to the late Clarence and Mary Wells Coates, a deeply rooted Middle Tennessee family, passed away January 4, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, one half-sister, Carlene Coates McMurtry, one granddaughter and her loving husband, Bobby Stafford.
She is survived by three children, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
She was a hardworking independent woman who instilled the same values and work ethic in her children. She was also a business woman and strongly committed to her faith, family and community. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched..
Funeral services for Ms. Stafford will be conducted on Tuesday, January 15th at 11AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home, Westmoreland, TN with interment to follow in the New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 14th from 6PM-8PM and again on Tuesday, 9AM-service time at 11AM at Woodard Funeral Home.
