I met Laura many years ago, she was one of the first true friends I made in Sussex County. One thing that made us bond instantly was the fact the she shared her birthday with my deceased father, she said that I had no excuse to forget her birthday.
She was more than my friend, we felt a true kinship, she was my sister.
Things became more special when her children came into my life. I was one of the first people they came to know when they finally came to America. I was, and still am honored to be their Auntie Beth.
I will always treasure all the happy memories we shared over the years. We laughed and cried together. She was one of the only friends I had here to support me when I went through my breast cancer treatment.
I am having a difficult time expressing the loss I feel. I would like to quote a part of a poem that I wrote for my Aunt, who was more like my mother, just as Laura was both a friend and a sister to me.
I will not cry for you today
I will hold my head up high and say...
Today is a day we celebrate
Laura...
You are my friend and my sister. I can't begin to express how much I will miss you. We take so much for granted, I always expected you to be here. I love you, and I will treasure you always.

I'm so sorry to hear of Laura Beth's passing. We knew each other in high school and college--she was always a bright face in the room and quick with a smile. My prayers are with her family and friends.
I only met LB recently and am so sorry I didn't have more time to share with her. RIP LB!
We will cherish the times spent with Laura at the beach and the adventures she & I had in Florida. Rest in peace LB. I hope fond memories of her help the family through this difficult time.
We are very sorry you have pain in your hearts.
Shawn & family. Very sorry to hear about Laura. We wish you peace and comfort is this time of such sorrow. I'm sure your hearts will be filled with wonderful, loving memories.
