Larry E. Crain's Obituary
Larry E. Crain, age 60, of Lewes, DE, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007, at his residence. Mr Crain was born December 22, 1946 in Elkton, MD, son of the late Joseph and Diana (Boyce) Crain.
Mr. Crain had been employed as a generator mechanlc by Delaware National Guard. He was a member of American Legion Post #17, where he previously served on the Board of Directors for five years. In addition, he was a member of the Moose Lodge, Lewes, and VFW Post # 7444. He served honorably with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved his children and grandchildren, and "The Price is Right" TV game show.
Mr. Crain is survived by three daughters, Kristina Crain of Millsboro, DE, Laurie Hulbert of Harbeson, DE and Treasa McElhenny of Lewes; one son, Dwayne Terry of Lewes; seven grandchildren; his former wife Darlene Crain; a sister, Shirley Gregson and her husband Joe of Elkton, MD; and two brothers, William H. Crain and his wife Oleda of Townsend, DE and Vic Crain and his wife Mary of Elkton.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2007, 12 Noon, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE, 2 PM.
A reception will be held at 3 PM, American Legion Post #17, American Legion Drive, Lewes, DE.
