Lanelle was a wonderful friend. She had a warm, generous spirit and a ready smile. We shared many laughs as well as serious conversations while at UVA. Two of her silk screens hang in my home, constant reminders of her talent and of our friendship.
As a wife, mother, grandmother, friend and creative inspiration, she was dedicated and loving in each role every day of her life. She brought joy and laughter into our lives and helped us grow up in a beautiful way. My family and I will miss her very very much. We wouldn’t be here without her. Love You, Mom!
she was a wonderful early companion and early friend. she was full of interesting games that she played and had a wonderful way of playing hop scotch. I'm so happy she met Jim. They had a wonderful life together. I know she will always be remembered through her children and grandchildren I always wished her well as well as her family and know that if there is a heaven she has moved on to better world.
